Just a quick post this Friday afternoon to follow up on my post from Tuesday about fixing some mistakes I was making in my content.
As a quick recap, about a month ago, I spent much time creating a great new offer with free training and access to my newsletter to share with people to help them build an online business and make money online.
Two weeks after the new offer went live, I checked the results on the opt-in page where people go to get access to the free training and newsletter offer and saw that no one visited the page. I was devastated!
I reviewed all my content and realized that I was missing some crucial steps in the marketing formula; sharing stories and adding good hooks.
The hooks are for capturing people’s attention on my posts. Sharing stories helps people connect with the content and the offer I am making.
Well, after I changed some things on my Quora profile page and posts this week, I had two visits to the opt-in page in 3 1/2 days. This is better than zero visits in two weeks. Hopefully, this means the changes worked and I’m making progress.
I’ll closely watch this in case it was just luck.
Stay posted for more! Have a great weekend.
