I recently read an article about billboard advertising in Los Angeles and how law offices were big buyers of billboard space during the pandemic because ad prices declined.
Interestingly, the article explained the difference between the trade of law and the business side of law.
It describes how law offices need new cases regularly, so they rely on advertising to market the business. Without new cases, the business declines.
This made me think about the value of marketing and advertising in business.
Affiliate marketers are freelance marketers who receive a share of profits when a product the affiliate promotes is sold.
Affiliate marketers’ skills are sought after, and businesses will pay a lot of money for good marketing. The same can be said of advertising.
Sometimes, there is confusion within the affiliate marketing industry about what tasks to perform to make money.
There are two main tasks affiliate marketers do for their business relationships:
- lead generation
- customer acquisition
The article explained how many attorneys do not have the time to learn marketing and advertising because they need to focus on mastering the trade of law. As a result, they leverage marketers to grow their business.
Many businesses need marketers to help their business succeed.
As a result, affiliates can take pride in the role they play and the skills they have.
So, if you are an affiliate marketer, you have high intrinsic value.
If you are looking for a new career, to start your own business, or to develop a side hustle, consider affiliate marketing.
As long as companies produce products or services, there will always be a need to market them!
