Yesterday, I added 3 more emails to the email sequence I set up for new subscribers to my email newsletter.
What I want to do today is test the email sequence to make sure the new emails get sent correctly. I am going to create a new email address in Google and then opt-in to the email newsletter using the new email address I set up. Will I get all the emails in the sequence? This is what I want to make sure of.
One of the main issues with building an online business is lots of things are connected- whether there are links on webpages that go someplace else, or there is an opt-in form to join a newsletter followed by multiple emails in an email sequence.
Everything has to be tested to ensure it all works. Occasionally, something does not work, meaning I click a link and it does not go to the correct page or the page has an error message. Or, I set up an email but it does not get sent for some reason. It is usually because of a human error on my end.
Every time I make a change to something, I have to retest it.
But, once I have tested it and everything works correctly, it is good to go and I do not have to worry about it ever again (unless I make a change to it!).
