Hey everyone, it is Monday morning, and I’m figuring out what I will focus on this week.
As usual, I want to continue driving traffic to my blog and free training opt-in page. I also need to finish my ‘store’ page for my blog, which has additional resources I use to build my online business- training, books, software, etc.
Another thing I want to clear up is the conundrum about the click results on various links I have posted on Quora. I did some testing last week, and I uncovered some mysterious results.
One type of link records a certain number of clicks every time I use the link in the post, usually between 5-8 clicks, whereas the links from other link sources get fewer. The issue is that I tested this by using the exact description of what the link is for in multiple posts, and the click results were different.
I will find out this week whether Quora’s system clicks on all links in content people post to ensure they are not spam or dangerous. But perhaps the system can click a link and immediately exit the page. In this situation, one software that tracks a type of link may pick up on this and register it as a click, while the other software does not. If this is true, I must be careful not to overinflate my click results. This makes tracking much more difficult, but I must live with it.
I plan to post a question on Quora about this and see if I can get anyone to answer it.
Have a good week!
