My opt-in page is performing terribly

I have to report that my opt-in page is still performing terribly.

Last Friday, March 8th, I wrote about changing the offer for new subscribers to my email list (I added more free training videos). I then posted new content on a social media platform. The first post initially got a bunch of clicks to the opt-in page.

However, after that, I did not get any more clicks to the opt-in page, even after posting more content with the opt-in page link. The audience is telling me something; they are not interested!

From my marketing training, I know that when results are poor, I have to go back and look at three things: the hook, the story, and the offer.

This past week, I have been using more ‘intelligent’ hooks. Hooks are the headlines I use for my posts, and intelligent hooks are those engineered using professional ‘hook’ formulas to attract attention.

I reviewed the ‘stories’ in the posts and felt they were not good. I can do a better job with this. The stories are real-life examples of how the products in an offer help to accomplish a goal, solve a problem, or achieve a desire. It helps connect people to the product and its benefits.

The offer is okay for now. I worked a lot on improving it a few weeks ago and do not want to change it now.

I’ll test this by adding real-life examples of how the free training helped me create a professional framework for building an online business in 2024.

This will be the test for the next week. I’ll report back with the results!
