3 Ways An Affiliate Can Promote Affiliate Links Without Maintaining a Website

I have seen questions on forums about how an affiliate marketer can promote affiliate links without maintaining a website.

Here is my take on this with 3 ways an affiliate can do this.

1) Posting content on social media platforms that include affiliate links

2) Online advertisements where the clickable action step is an affiliate link

3) Getting involved in an online forum or community and periodically posting content with affiliate links.

Social media platforms and online forums/communities allow the affiliate to build an audience by posting relevant content. The more helpful the content, the larger the audience the affiliate builds. And over time, the affiliate can provide product offers with affiliate links for those interested.

Online advertisements work in that the clickable step in the ad can be an affiliate link. The ad promotes the product offer, and those interested click the link.

When I first dabbled in affiliate marketing many years ago, I did not maintain a website. I used online advertising to promote the affiliate links.

Now, I maintain a blog, which I have found valuable because it is my home base for my content and products. I feel it adds a sense of trust and legitimacy to my audience. However, it is not necessary to do this as an affiliate marketer.

If you have experience with this, let me know! I would enjoy hearing your thoughts.
