After reviewing the results from May, I decided to make the following changes that I feel should help improve my blog and website, and other features of my online business:
- I changed the name of my Store page to Tools to Build an Online Business. I feel this is more appropriate as a resource page with tools to share what works for me that others can use, too. At the same time, this is like a store where I share my affiliate links and earn revenue if someone purchases a product.
- I changed my free product offer with the Holland’s Iceberg Method free training videos to include the free book offer for The Iceberg Effect, too. Before, I had the free book offer as a stand-alone product, but I decided it made more sense to include it within HIM’s offer.
- Quora—I will post a different piece of content in 5 spaces per day, 5 times a week (25 total pieces of content posted). I’ll rotate old posts into new posts and make slight variations as I repost. I’m hoping this will avoid the low-quality issue I ran into in late May.
- I want to go back to basics with my blog posts and emails for my newsletter. When I write content, I want to explain where that information or topic fits into Holland’s Iceberg Method. I created HIM as a comprehensive process anyone can follow to start and grow an online business. Lately, I’ve been writing lots of content but not necessarily explaining where it fits in the grand scheme of things within the framework of the HIM’s process. I want to start doing this to help organize my content so that people who read it can apply it better to their own businesses.
