April Results

Hey everyone, it’s the end of April, and today, I was checking my results for this month. Overall, they were not as good as I wanted.

My primary organic traffic source is posting content on a forum called Quora. I like it because it is a question-and-answer-based app, meaning people go on there to ask questions. It is a great way to help others and share tips, advice, and experiences. I focus on helping people looking to grow an online business, develop a side job or hustle, and be affiliate marketers.

The main goals for the month included writing one post and answering one question five days a week. I wrote 20 posts and 20 answers, so I accomplished this goal. In most of the content, I shared links to a blog post, a free product offer (free training to build my email list), or a product offer. I did not get many clicks on the free product offer or regular product offer, but I got more clicks on my blog posts, which is a good thing.

This tells me that I should not put links to anything product-related, even a free one, as it is not attractive to people.

As a result, my goal in May is to not include any links except for blog posts related to the topic I am writing about. I want to see if focusing on leveraging my blog posts can produce different results. I’ll try this for two weeks to get a feel for it. By mid-May, what will the results be? Better? Worse? The same?

This is my first time producing a lot of content on a social media app, so I expect to have to make tweaks as I move along. When I get a better grasp what I am doing on Quora, I will move on to another social media app like FaceBook or TikTok.
