Business time vs. family time

One of the most difficult tasks for me is managing my business time and family time.

Every day, I want to maximize the amount of time I work on my business. The reason is simple- I want to create more income to provide more for my family. I do it for them more than I do it for myself.

But there comes the dilemma- spending the time to build an online business well sometimes prevents me from spending quality time with my family. I cannot do both at the same time (at least not well).

I have another business I run as my ‘day job’, and I run this business at www.businessbuildingonline.com as my side hustle or side gig.

This takes extra time out of my day. It becomes a major task to organize my day so that I have time for everything- business and family.

If I spend too much time on business and spend less time with family, then I do not get to connect as much with the people I care most about.

If I spend too much time away from building my business, then progress gets stunted.

I remember Tony Robbins said something about what needs to be done to be successful. He said simply, ‘Take massive action’. What he meant was to take huge action with your work and business to get it moving forward faster, accelerating success.

But man, that takes time away from developing relationships with other people outside of work.

It is all very hard, and there are only 24 hours in the day.

Many days, I wake up at least an hour before everyone else in my family to work on things like my business. I call it the Power Hour. That hour can be helpful to get stuff done without distractions. This is the sacrifice I make to be successful.

It is not easy, but every day I try to make the most of it.

Can you relate to this at all? Let me know your thoughts if you are reading this!
