Today I was doing some marketing training that discussed the email sequence to send to people after they opt in on the opt-in webpage.
I went back to the original email I wrote for my email sequence and realized it was not the best. I can write a better version.
The email has free training as a thank-you for opting in (also called a lead magnet to encourage people to opt in), which is great, but that might not be enough.
The email needs to explain what someone can expect in the future.
Ultimately, the emails people receive from me need to have a lot of value. I would like to make it so valuable that the content they receive is even more than what they might get from a paid product.
It is big shoes to fill, but I want to do it right.
I’m going back to the drawing table so-to-speak and seeing how to make my email sequence better.
