I have not talked much about how I am generating traffic to my blog and some of the offers I have created.
As of now, I have been on Quora for about 2-3 months. Quora is a forum-based website where people ask questions and post content.
I like Quora for numerous reasons. First, it is an active platform. Lots of people use it.
Second, I like how one of the main characteristics is the question-and-answer format. When I set up my profile, Quora asks me about what topics I am interested in. The system gets to know me, so it knows what type of content I want to see.
When I login to my profile, the top section or feed has questions other people posted. I have the ability to answer those questions if I feel that I have some information or guidance to provide.
There is also a section to post content which is like many of the other social media apps.
Over the past few months, I have been answering a lot of questions about affiliate marketing, side hustles, and online businesses.
I have also been posting content mainly about building an online business, online marketing, and other related things.
My plan is to spend a few more months posting a lot more content to build an audience and establishing myself on that platform.
I got my first ‘follower’ about two weeks ago. It is fun to have someone think my content is good enough to want to follow me. Or at least I hope this is why I have a follower!
Also, last week I had someone upvote one of my answers. An upvote in Quora is similar to a ‘like’ in other apps. People like the content and hit the ‘upvote’ button. It is my first upvote, which is exciting.
Most of the views from my answers and posts come from discussing side hustles or how to work from home. It seems a lot of people are interested in this!
Eventually, I plan to get into another social media app and begin posting content on there. I am thinking to do a video-oriented app like TikTok.
It takes time to create the content to post on Quora, so for now, I am focusing on getting good at one platform.
