The frustration of using new systems and software

Today I was thinking about how I will track web page traffic on different social media platforms I will use to start driving traffic to my blog here.

A few weeks ago, I set up an opt-in webpage for people to get two new free training videos by Dean Holland and access to a new exclusive newsletter I created.

However, I want to make another URL for the opt-in with a different ‘slug’ (slug is the end part of the URL) that I can post on a different social media platform so that I can track how many visitors go to each opt-in page from each platform. It will help me see how each platform is performing from a traffic perspective, even though the opt-in page itself is the same.

But now I cannot remember how to make another unique URL slug and have it connect to an automated email I made for anyone who opts in.

So now, I have to go through some training videos to re-learn how to do this.

This is one of the frustrating parts of using a new email and webpage builder called Affiliate Systems. I learned how to do it, but it takes more than just one time doing it to remember how to do it. Now I have to spend more time going back and relearning how to do it. It is so frustrating!

But what can I do? Nothing, except complain about it here. This is all just a part of the process, and luckily Affiliate Systems is an easy-to-use system, so it should not take too much time to figure this out.

Thanks for listening while I get this off my chest!

Ok, back to work for me.

So long, and take care. Hopefully, my next post will be something more uplifting!

Best,
